# Access Roles

Project admins can assign access roles to project members in UI.

Charts, Dashboards, Reports, Models and Spaces have `access_roles` parameter:
- Syntax for Mprove YAML - `access_roles: [sales, marketing]`
- Syntax for Malloy model custom tags - `access_roles="sales, marketing"`

In this case, access will be granted to project members with "Sales" or "Marketing" access roles.

Reports, Charts and Dashboards (objects) authored by user are stored in personal folder under `mprove-users` path. 
Project admins and editors can specify object's `space` in UI. Specifying space will move file to the space folder.

Users with **ProjectAdmin** or **FileEditor** roles have access to all Charts, Dashboards, Reports, Models and Spaces of the project.
